I have followed Jeffrey for several years, so naturally when one of my favorite restaurants Maya Del Sol in Oak Park, IL posted that he would be there signing his new cook book Jeffrey Saad’s Global Kitchen: Recipes Without Borders I said to myself I must go. The book about what Jeff and the way he is able to put a global spin on familiar dishes. He also breaks down the core spices and teaches you how they are used in different ethnic cuisine’s.
Meeting Jeff was fun and great learning experience on my journey of culinary supremacy. One of the thing that really stood out to me while watching his cooking demo was how he loved to involve the children there. His belief that if you invite your kids into the kitchen it will help build relationships and give them life skills the need. Heck they might even make you dinner one day!
